You may know him as the lead singer of The Vamps, but now he is solo artist, Bradley Simpson, and he’s coming to our Steel City next year.
Initially forming The Vamps in 2011, posting music on Youtube in 2012, and releasing their debut album in 2014, the band quickly rose in the charts at the height of the roar for boybands. Though still together, releasing music and touring, lead singer, Bradley Simpson, is exploring and expanding his creative boundaries by also pursuing a solo career.
After spending this summer playing at Reading & Leeds, Latitude and the Isle of Wight festivals, and an immediately sold out November tour in the UK and Europe, Simpson is back next year with his biggest headline tour. Beginning the global tour in Australia from February 2025, he is heading to Sheffield’s Leadmill on 13th May 2025.
Along with this tour comes his debut album, The Panic Years, releasing on 28th February 2025 to kick off his touring. Listening to his new singles, ‘Holy Grail,’ ‘Daisies,’ ‘Cry At The Moon,’ ‘Always Like This,’ and ‘Picasso,’ in anticipation will help get a feel for the album to come. Combining pop with indie-rock, the album will dwell on his personal experiences of life, love and learning, open for fans to connect and relate to themselves.
As Simpson tells Chuff Media: “I hope these songs and stories can help them navigate those experiences. They can become the soundtrack to their lives, whether they’re dancing, crying, going out or whatever it is. It really feels like an opportunity to let them into a side of my life that I haven’t shared before.”
