As seen in Liverpool and Birmingham, Red Brick Market is an independent shopping collective, likened to Manchester's Affleck's Palace, with a myriad of unique sellers and a focus on community and sustainability.
From its conception in 2018, the aspirations of Red Brick Market has gone from strength to strength, and now marking a new milestone for the thriving collective, we're chuffed to announce that Red Brick Market's third venue will open in our own Sheffield this month!
Opening on Monday 18 March on Clough Road, opposite St Mary's Church near Bramall Lane, Red Brick Market finds home inside the former Jump! trampoline park building. But rather than a trampoline, inside you'll find a trove of unique and unusual stores, independent traders, talented local artists and start up businesses, each contributing their distinctive style to perhaps what will be
the coolest shopping experience in Sheffield.
Promising a shopping experience like no other, the sorts of stores you can expect to find include arts and crafts, vinyl vendors, bakeries, vintage, handmade goods, artists, bookshops and more! It's no surprise that Secret Birmingham have named it "a treasure trove definitely worth exploring."
The venue's large size is set to accommodate up to 200 local small businesses across two floors, providing a vibrant platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services, and a diverse shopping experience for us Sheffielders. With the exterior to be wrapped in a red and black mural, finishing touches are underway ahead of launch, and vendors are already working on their new spaces.
Christopher Day, founder of Red Brick Markets told us "We are thrilled to open our third venue in Sheffield, a city that has embraced and supported Red Brick Market from the beginning. This expansion reflects our dedication to creating a dynamic marketplace for local businesses and providing the community with a diverse and engaging shopping experience."
Not only is sustainability a priority, but Red Brick Market are committed to fostering local economic growth and supporting the entrepreneurial spirit within Sheffield. Red Brick Market really supports small, helping to enable local people to start their own business at a much lower cost than at other retail units.
Red Brick Market invites the community to join in the celebration and experience the vibrancy of this new venue. The highly anticipated grand opening will be taking place at 10am on Monday 18th March with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, so make sure to get yourself down there for your first look. Who knows, you may just stumble across your newest indie find!
Red Brick Market will be open seven days a week. For more information, please contact info@redbrickmarkets.co.uk.
