Get Together Festival 2023: Kelham's Biggest Party Goes On Sale With A Stacked Cast

It's that time of year already folks... Festival announcement season is upon us once again. Sheffield has rapidly developed it's reputation as one of the best festival cities in the country with now FOUR hugely diverse music festivals on offer following the debuts of Sheffield Music Trails and Float Along Festival in 2022. First of the four to show it's hand and announce the lineup is one of the older heads though. Get Together Festival has revealed for it's 3rd edition on 20th May that indie legends Friendly Fires will be headlining a fantastic day of music, food and... Of course, it's Kelham after all... Beer. Friendly Fires will be celebrating 15 years of their acclaimed self-titled debut. They will be joined by an absolutely stacked lineup of musical acts including exciting Irish pop star CMAT, singer songwriter Hamish Hawk and post punk group Do Nothing to name just a few. Check out the full lineup on the Get Together website here. Get Together isn't just about the music though, the day will see street food provided by Peddler, a pop up record shop curated by Spinning Discs and Sheffield's own Corbin Shaw will be the festival's artist in residence. There is something for everyone! If you're after more of a standard day out in Kelham Island on May 20th then Kelham Island Brewery and Friends are running "The Kelham Beer Mile" with tap takeovers from a wide variety of Sheffield's finest independent breweries. Tickets for the festival are on sale now for just £35, get yours while you can as demand has already managed to crash the See Tickets website once! It's a day in the Sheffield event calendar that is not to be missed, so we'll see you there I'm sure.
