In less than two weeks Strange Days is bringing Float Along Festival to the streets of Sheffield to showcase the best in new music. A power-house medley of indie, psych-rock, and alternative, the multi-venue festival will be taking place on Saturday 24th September 2022.
The all-day event will be fantastic for the city, aiming to not only highlight great new talent, but also focus on some of the most iconic and emerging music venues in Sheffield, featuring The Leadmill, Sidney & Matilda, Record Junkee, and Network. There’ll be sets from Fur, Katy J Pearson, Warmduscher, The Magic Gang, Los Bitchos, Pigsx7, headliners Everything Everything, and a plethora of other spectacular bands. The festival also promises to bring street food, vintage clothing, and several DJ sets. And if you’re looking for a little break from the music, you’ll find Steve Lamacq over at Sidney & Matilda’s Yard Stage talking about his time as an NME journalist, a radio presenter, gig goer, and music lover.
Dubbed as a day of “mind blowing outsider pop and rock,” Float Along is not one to miss if you’re in and around Sheffield!
We hope to see you there!
