Daytime clubbing might be one of the best things to take off in popularity in recent years. No more need for staying out til the early, early hours to enjoy the club classics we all enjoy. You can now get the same feeling, but still be home for some late night telly and without ruining the day after.
Another option for those looking for more events like this is set to make it's debut in the Steel City at the beginning of March. You Got The Love blends a carefully curated soundtrack of house music favourites with an inclusive and laid-back atmosphere over four hours on Saturday 1st March.
Following sell-out events at North Shields’ Salt Market Social, this unique experience is heading to the renowned FORGE Warehouse for an afternoon of house music classics and good vibes. Recently recognised in DJ Mag’s ‘Best of British’ awards, You Got The Love focuses on music and atmosphere over big-name DJs, promising quality sound, lighting, and production in one of Sheffield’s top club venues.
Aaron Swales, co-founder and events manager of You Got The Love said of the event and its opening in Sheffield: “You Got The Love is about creating something different—an exciting, high-energy event that fits into people’s busy lives, without the need for a late night."
"Sheffield is the perfect place to showcase this concept, it has always been a hub for forward-thinking music culture, and we’re excited to bring this concept to such a vibrant city. It’s a city that knows how to embrace new ideas and celebrate music in all its forms."
Sheffield has already proven a city with an enthusiasm for events of this kind, 2024 saw the debut of Day Fever, a daytime club night from the brains of Vicky McClure, Jonny Owen and Rev himself, our very own John McClure. Since starting, the event has toured the country to over 85,000 happy dancers. The Day Fever experience can also be found at Rock N Roll Circus in the city this summer as well.
